Southall Black Sisters (SBS) and the End Violence against Women (EVAW) Coalition are holding a series of free consultation seminars. To develop a UK-wide strategy on violence against (BME) women and girls. The strategy seminars hosted by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC). These seminars will be crucial in informing the Westminster Government’s forthcoming strategy on violence against women. The seminars expected publishing time is November 2010, and other policies around the UK. Please come along and share your experiences and ideas on the needs of BME women and girls so that they’re reflected in this work.

All community and women’s organisations are welcome (priority given to BME women’s organisations) working on violence against women and girls.
