Advice surgeries

Due to #Covid19, our advice surgeries are suspended for the time being. For further details see our blog.

Southall Black Sisters are working with Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity, to provide an outreach housing advice surgery. The service is free and specifically for women, aged over 25, who reside in Ealing.

You will be assisted by a specialist housing advisor, who can:

• check your legal rights regarding housing and homelessness
• guide you through legal procedures
• help you to negotiate or take further action

The Advice Surgeries are open to all women or those seeking advice for women. If you are from an agency and referring a client, please indicate whether you will be attending the appointment with your client.

You do not need to be a client at SBS to access this advice surgery.

The Housing Advice Surgeries are currently not available. Once they resume, the sessions will be held at our main office: 21 Avenue Road, Southall, Middlesex UB1 3BL.

Individuals will be given a 40-minute session. We will have the capacity to see 5 individuals on each occasion.
