Southall Black Sisters, supporting the Step Up Migrant Women Coalition, have called for the May 2025 Immigration White Paper to be scrapped. The statement, signed by 70+ organisations across the charity sector, condemns the policies outlined in the White Paper as state-sanctioned violence and warns that worsening hostile environment policies make it harder for victim-survivors of domestic abuse to escape abuse.
